Indexed Bite with Composite on Rickanator

I wasn't able to obtain any Transheet due to Densply's discontinuation of this product so I tried to use composite to index the bite on a Rickanator appliance. The anterior (labial) portion of the composite came off after two days likely due to it being so thin. The posterior (lingual) part of the composite remained. I was wondering if you could please provide feedback on how to do a better indexed bite with composite as this was my first try indexing the bite. Thank you!
