Combined mx Schwarz appliance with bite plane

Hi! I was wondering if anyone has had success with adding a bite plane onto a removable mx Schwarz appliance. The patient I'm treating is 8 years old. He has a deep bite and mx laterals that won't fully erupt due to crowding. He needs expansion but I also would like to correct his deep bite so I added posterior bite turbo build-ups to his md primary molars to open the bite and asked the lab to build up a slight acrylic bite plane in the anterior to help support the anterior teeth. Are there any potential complications from adding slight composite to support the anterior teeth? And how would you approach this case? The case photos are attached. Wits appraisal is 1.2. Thank you!
