Dr. Patel received his dental degree in 1994 from the University of Tennessee, and then completed a one-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. Dr Patel has his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), Diplomate in the American Academy of Pain Management (DAAPM), is a Fellow of the International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics (FICCMO), and has a Fellowship in the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain (FAACP). He stays up-to-date with over 1,300 hours of post graduate education courses in the area of TMJ disorders, orofacial pain, orthodontics and sleep disorders. Dr Patel serves as a part time clinical instructor at the Georgia perimeter college, dept of dental hygiene and also is a peer reviewer for Penn well publications.
